Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin rocked our world with the acclaimed sketchy comedy I Think You Should Leave, and they’re gearing up for another collaboration. The creative duo is developing a pilot for the HBO comedy The Chair Company, with Robinson in the lead role.

Robinson and Kanin serve as writers and executive producers of a half-hour comedy pilot, which will center on a man who finds himself investigating a far-reaching conspiracy after an embarrassing incident at work.

In addition to Robinson and Kanin, Adam McKay and Todd Schulman are also executive producing the pilot via Hyperobject Industries, under their overall deal with HBO.

Kanin and Robinson go a long way, and they’ve collaborated on several projects since meeting during their time working as writers on Saturday Night Live. They co-created two series by each other’s side, before The Chair Company, including Detroiters for Comedy Central and the sketch comedy I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson for Netflix, both starring Robinson.

The third season of I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson ended its run last year, and its future remains uncertain, but the duo recently embarked on a comedy tour inspired by the hit sketch show, which includes a series of dates across North America this April and May.
