The cast of Owen Wilson’s upcoming Apple TV+ golf comedy is a true embarrassment of riches, and another acclaimed actor just joined the gang. Timothy Olyphant is the latest addition to the star-studded cast of this show created by Jason Keller.

This untitled sports comedy will center on Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely two decades ago. After losing both his wife and his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce decides to hedge all his bets on a troubled 17-year-old golf prodigy.

Olyphant joined the cast as Clark, described as “a successful, former golf pro who once toured with Pryce.” He’ll be in pretty good company on the set of this series since the cast also includes Peter Dager as the young golf phenom, Marc Maron as Pryce’s best friend and former caddy Mitts, and Judy Greer as his ex-wife Amber-Linn.

Olyphant is best known as the Emmy-nominated star of Justified, with a pretty impressive TV resume behind him. He rose to prominence with the role in HBO’s western series Deadwood, led Netflix’s horror comedy Santa Clarita Diet, and most recently appeared in Daisy Jones & the Six, Justified: City Primeval, and Full Circle.
