The Terminal List became a huge hit with Amazon Prime Video users when it first premiered, and the streaming giant eventually decided to greenlight a prequel series. Casting for The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is currently underway, and Tom Hopper just landed one of the key roles.

Dark Wolf is set five years before the events of the original series, and it centers on Taylor Kitsch’s character Ben Edwards. This series will see him going from his former life as a Navy SEAL to rising through the ranks in the CIA after becoming a paramilitary operator.

In addition to Kitsch, Dark Wolf will feature several more familiar faces, with Chris Pratt and Jared Shaw also reprising their roles.

Tom Hopper’ll join them in the role of Raife Hastings, who’s been described as “a hunter, protector, guardian and Navy SEAL.” He’s currently gearing up for the release of the final season of the hit Netflix series The Umbrella Academy, and his list of TV credits also includes the Starz series Black Sails and guest appearances in Game of Thrones and Merlin.

Terminal List: Dark Wolf hails from David DiGilio, who created the original series, and Jack Carr, the author of The Terminal List book series, which served as the basis for this show.
