Amazon Prime Video is putting a twist on the popular game show Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? and they found a perfect person to host its spin-off. NFL superstar Travis Kelce has officially been confirmed as the host of Amazon’s Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?

This game show received a 20-episode order at Amazon Prime Video, and it will feature adult contestants relying on the help of a classroom full of celebrities when answering 11 questions from the elementary curriculum for a chance to win a $100,000 prize.

Kelce has been a huge fan of game shows growing up, and he can’t wait to host his own and follow in the footsteps of many TV icons who stood there before him.

“The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining. I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up,” he said in a statement.

Kelce is best known as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the three-time Super Bowl champion, but he’s been trying to break into the entertainment industry in recent years. He hosted Saturday Night Live last year and currently runs a podcast New Heights with his brother Jason Kelce.
