UnforgottenĀ has been confirmed for a fourth season.
ITV announced that the popular British drama series will be back for Season 4. Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhakstar will even be reprising their roles as DCI Cassie Stuart and DI Sunny Khan in what ITV promises to be an investigation of anotherĀ “emotionally charged and compelling cold case”.
Chris Lang will be writing the new six-part season once more and Andy Wilson will be directing and executive producing.
Lang said: “I am so delighted to have been asked to make a fourth series ofĀ Unforgotten.
“The reaction to series 3 was better than I could ever have expected (with more people watching the last episode than any other in all three series) and I cannot wait to discover what lies ahead for Cassie and Sunny, and to create a whole new cast of characters for them to grapple with.”
The third season recently wrapped on ITV this summer and received extremely positive reviews. We can expect the fourth season around the same time 2019.
