Vick Hope Speaks About the Possibility of Will.i.am Leaving The Voice Kids: “He’s one of the OGs.”

Will.i.am. in The Voice Kids

Presenter Vick Hope has admitted that The Voice Kids would not be the same without Will.i.am.

The Voice Kids has returned for a second series and the talent so far has been incredible. Viewers are impressed with the quality of the performances and have been taking to social media to share their astonishment at how amazing some of the voices are.

This year, the coaches include Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and The Voice legend Will.i.am. Recently, however, rumours have been circulating that Will.i.am could potentially be leaving the show.

Digital Spy has spoken to presenter Vick Hope about her experience of the show and what it would be like if Will.i.am was to leave. She said the following:

“It’s such a nice show… such a warm show. There’s something about the fact that they’re kids, and even if they get a knock back… They’ve got their whole life ahead of them, and they’re extremely talented. So nothing is negative.”

She went on to credit all the judges for what they bring to the table and spoke about the possibility of Will.i.am leaving.

“They’re quite hands-on, the coaches. A lot of them work in different ways,” she said. “But yeah, they work and they mentor and they help with what songs they should pick, and how they should stage it.

“Will’s really good at staging. Pixie’s really good at dancing. They all bring something different, which is why they’re on the team they want to be on.”

She added: “It would be a huge hole in The Voice machine because he’s been there right from the beginning,” Vick said of his possible exit. “He’s one of the OGs.”
