Wednesday has made quite a splash since premiering on Netflix last month, and it hasn’t left the streamer’s English-language chart ever since. It returned to No. 1 for its fifth week in a row, leaving Emily in Paris and The Recruit in the dust.

Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams and chronicles the heroine’s time as a student at Nevermore Academy. It premiered on November 23 and it set many major records in its wake, becoming Netflix’s second-most watched English-language Netflix series in just three weeks.

During its fifth week atop the chart, it logged 118.5 million hours viewed. The third season of Emily in Paris was very close to passing it, with 117.6 million hours viewed at No 2. The show’s first season also returned to the top ten, with 11.5 million hours viewed. The Recruit starring Noah Centineo, the royal docuseries Harry & Meghan, and the animated show Sonic Prime round out the top five.

This week’s chart cements Netflix’s record-breaking year in terms of content. Wednesday joins the fourth season of Stranger Things and Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story as one of three shows to cross one billion hours viewed this year. The year-end top five list also included the second season of Bridgeton and the mini-series Inventing Anna.
