The Walking Dead isn’t slowing down.

With the show’s 10th season having just premiered, AMC has confirmed that an 11th will be coming our way.

And not only will the series be returning, but one of its beloved stars, too.

After departing last year, Lauren Cohan will be back as a series regular in the role of Maggie.

Cohan appeared along with the rest of the cast at New York Comic Con where the renewal was revealed.

The Walking Dead burst out of the gate ten years ago as a genre show that had all the character depth of a top-tier prestige drama,” AMC president Sarah Barnett said in a statement. “And now ten years later – led by the brilliant Angela Kang and fuelled by one of the most consistently talented casts in television – this phenomenon is flourishing creatively, with critics and audiences embracing its reset. We’re delighted to welcome back Lauren Cohan, she has meant so much to this show and its passionate, global fanbase, who are in for a fantastic ride over the coming months.”

Even better news, the third series in The Walking Dead franchise is set to debut soon.
