“What We Do In The Shadows” TV Series Gets First Trailer

Taika Waititi, Jemaine Clement, and Jonny Brugh in "What We Do in the Shadows" (2014)

The first trailer for the TV series of What We Do In The Shadows has arrived.

The series will be a documentary-style comedy about the life of three vampires sharing an apartment in New York City. If this sounds familiar, that’s because in 2014 a feature length version of the concept popped up from Flight of the Concord’s Jemaine Clement.

The film quickly became a cult classic, and now we’ll get to see more from the vamps. You can check out the first teaser trailer here:

The recurring cast will include Kayvan Novak as Nandor, Matt Berry as Laszlo, Natasia Demetriou as Nadja and Harve Guillen as Guillermo. Not much is yet known about the series, but by the looks of things, it will take on a similar style to the 2014 film. Still, knowing Jemaine Clement, we’re sure that he’ll have a surprise or two up his sleeve.

We’re not yet certain of the exact release date but it has been confirmed that the show will be coming to Netflix in 2019.
