Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is one of the most nostalgic shows coming to Disney Channel this fall, and they’ve picked the perfect release date for this series. The first two episodes will air on October 29, just in time for Halloween.
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place will reunite us with the adult Justin Russo, whose mortal life with his wife Giada and kids Roman and Milo is interrupted when his sister Alex unexpectedly shows up at his door.
“When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities – and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World,” reads the show’s official logline.
Selena Gomez and David Henrie will return as Alex and Justin Russo, and they’ll be joined by Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo, Max Matenko as Milo Russo, Taylor Cora as Winter, and Mimi Gianopulos as Giada Russo.
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place will premiere on Disney Channel with the first two episodes on October 29, before streaming on Disney+ with all eight episodes the next day. Former Disney stars Raven-Symoné and Danielle Fishel have been tapped to come on board as directors.
