Bridgerton has been ruling Nielsen’s streaming charts for quite some time, but its reign is finally over. Showtime’s legal drama Your Honor starring Bryan Cranston soared to the top after becoming available on Netflix.
Your Honor originally aired on Showtime for two seasons between 2020 and 2023, and it starred six-time Emmy winner Bryan Cranston as a respected New Orleans judge Michael Desiato. He must confront the convictions he held his whole life after his son is involved in a hit-and-run that embroils an organized crime family.
This legal drama topped Nielsen’s streaming chart after its first three days of availability on Netflix. It’s also available on its permanent streaming home, Paramount+, and it attracted 1.5 billion minutes viewed across both streaming platforms after being added to Netflix on May 31.
Bryan Cranston, who also served as the show’s executive producer, addressed its renewed success in a statement to Variety.
“A first-time experience gets a lot of attention, but there is a lot to be said for a second time. To have Your Honor get new life at Netflix is the dream scenario. Millions more people now have the chance to catch up with this extraordinary show that I am so proud of,” said Cranston.
