]]>According to its official logline, the four-episode special will see Malcolm and his daughter getting draw back into the family’s chaos after his parents Hal and Lois invite them to their 40th wedding anniversary party.
The original series creator, Linwood Boomer, is also the mastermind behind this four-episode revival. Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, praised his commitment to bringing back the laughs, pranks, and mayhem that fans of Malcolm in the Middle loved so much.
“Malcolm in the Middle is a landmark sitcom that captured the essence of family life with humor, heart, and relatability. Its hilarious and heartfelt portrayal of a lovably chaotic family resonated with audiences of all ages, and we’re so excited to welcome the original cast back to bring that magic to life again,” said Davis in a statement.

James’ new take on Prison Break won’t be a remake or a sequel of the original series, but a brand-new show set in the same universe. The characters from the original jailhouse drama aren’t expected to return, as the reboot shifts focus to a new crew of inmates.
Prison Break centered on Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) as he tries to help his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) to escape prison and clear his name after being sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit. The original series ran on Fox for five seasons and later produced a low-budget spin-off Prison Break: Proof of Innocence.

It was just a matter of time before this moment arrived since talks about a potential reboot in the form of a TV show or a movie have been swirling around ever since the original series ended its run.
Friday Night Lights was created for NBC by Peter Berg and ran on this network for two seasons before moving to The 101 Network for the next three seasons. It was set in a fictional town in Texas and centered on the high school football coach Eric Taylor, as he tries to make the Dillon Panthers the best team in the league.

The Pacific Rim franchise produced two films, a video game, and an animated series, and it’s now getting an origin story series. This project is developed under the first-look deal between Legendary Entertainment and Eric Heisserer, the Oscar-nominated filmmaker whose writing credits include Lights Out, Arrival, and Bird Box.
Jason Clodfelter, president of Legendary Television, announced their new deal with Heisserer, and described him as a multitalented, prolific creator whose track record of critical and commercial successes speaks for itself.
“We are thrilled to launch our partnership with Eric, Chronology, and Carmen, with a new entry in the epic, globally popular Pacific Rim universe. We are certain their vision will make for an enthralling expansion to Legendary’s beloved franchise,” said Clodfelter in a statement.
