The character opened the show, with the Ghostbusters actress declaring, “I kind of felt like an alien on this planet anyway. Well Earth, I love you, thanks for letting me stay awhile.”

Just hours before SNL aired, Davidson shared a video of himself from his first appearance 8 years ago, remarking that he felt both happy and sad to be leaving. The comedian, who is currently dating Kim Kardashian, recorded a pre-taped segment in which he was joined by Eminem whilst performing a rap for show creator, Lorne Michaels.

During his final Weekend Update appearance, Davidson referenced Harry Potter, joking that he was now free as Michaels had gifted him a sock.

Mooney and Bryant have each been a part of SNL for 9 and 10 seasons, respectively.

The Late Show host has signed a new contract with CBS, meaning he will continue to sit in his chair for another four years. 

Colbert became a regular on late-night in September 2015 when he took over from David Letterman, following his Comedy Central show, The Colbert Report, which ran from 2005 until 2014.

CBS has decided that we need a daily dose of the Santa Clarita Diet star to keep the blues at bay, and they have given the green light to her new daytime talk show. 

The pilot of the show was shot in August, with the network now ordering a full pick-up. 

“Drew is a huge star and a breath of fresh air — her show will energize any station’s lineup,” said the chief operating and financial officer of CBS Global Distribution Group, Steve LoCascio. 

Not only will the 44-year-old be performing hosting duties, she will also act as executive producer. 

“It is beyond my wildest dreams to have this opportunity for a daily talk show,” the actress said. “I’m truly thrilled and honoured to be creating this show with CBS.”

The syndicated talk show is eyeing a launch in fall 2020.

After the initial two seasons aired on TBS, the series will be hopping over to HBO Max. 

The new streaming service is set to launch in the spring and has already announced become the new home of The Big Bang Theory reruns, Sesame Street, and a reboot of Gossip Girl. 

The official synopsis for season 3 states: “Season three finds the gang swept up in the trial of the century after Dory and Drew are charged for the semi-accidental murder of a private investigator. As Elliott and Portia grapple with whether or not to testify as witnesses, the friends are pitted against each other and thrust into the national spotlight as notorious public figures. As Dory’s sanity begins to fracture, it becomes increasingly clear that they may not have brunch together for quite some time.”

“You’re going to love the two new seasons, but if for some reason you don’t, then you’ll get your subscription fee back. Actually, that’s not true. That’s a joke. We don’t have that kind of power,” joked co-showrunner Charles Rogers.

Netflix has shared another teaser for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie before the film drops in the next couple of weeks and it includes a familiar face — Old Joe.

Larry Hankin will reprise his role as the junkyard owner which he played in the original series.

Also making an appearance in the film will be Charles Baker as Jesse’s friend Skinny Pete, and Matt Jones as his other friend Badger. Jonathan Banks also let it slip that he will return as Jesse’s former business partner, Mike Ehrmantraut.

Overall, director Vince Gilligan has stated that more than ten characters from the show will appear in the film.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will be released on Netflix and in cinemas on October 11th.

Netflix is developing a workplace comedy about the people assigned to create a sixth branch of the United States armed services called Space Force.

10 episodes have already been ordered of the series that is being co-created by Steve Carrell and Greg Daniels. The latter is also set to serve as showrunner.

Six cast members have now been announced and will star alongside Carrell.

The Vice actor will play General Mark. R. Naird, whose task from the White House is to ensure an American has ventured to the moon by 2024.

He will lead the new branch of Armed Forces that will also employ chief scientific advisor, Dr. Adrian Mallory, played by John Malkovich.

Ben Schwartz of Parks and Recreation will also join the show as a self-centred media advisor, F. Tony Scarapiducci.

Tawny Newsome, Diana Silvers, Jimmy O. Yang, and Alex Sparrow make up the rest of the recently-announced cast.

Space Force is scheduled to premiere in 2020.

The series Starz series is based on the novel by Neil Gaiman that was published in 2001.

The third season of the show will include a brand new showrunner after the previous season saw both original showrunners, Bryan Fuller and Michael Green, depart the production, leaving Jesse Alexander in charge. Charles Eglee will now take over.

Danner has been cast as Demeter who is the goddess of agriculture, according to Greek mythology.

Her storyline will include a 4-episode arch in which she is involved in an unresolved romance with Mr. Wednesday who attempts to convince her to aid his war efforts by being involuntarily committed to a mental institution.

Ian McShane, Ricky Whittles, Emily Browning, Pablo Schrieber, Crispin Glover, and Orlando Jones are expected to return for season 3.
