All American: Homecoming centers on Geffri Maya’s character Simone Hicks, who decides to leave her life in Los Angeles behind to attend Bringston University, a historically black college in Atlanta, and pursue her dreams of being a professional tennis player.

All American: Homecoming showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll said she was devastated to learn that Season 3 will be the show’s final chapter, but added she’s grateful for the opportunity to bring the authentic HBCU experience to our screens.

“We made this show for the culture and thank our loyal audience and fans for taking this ride with us. We made this show so that our community, our kids (and their dreams), could be seen and celebrated every week and we are proud to say we accomplished that mission,” said Carroll in a statement.

All American: Homecoming will return for its final season on The CW on July 8. In addition to Geffri Maya, Season 3 will also star Peyton Alex Smith, Kelly Jenrette, Cory Hardrict, Sylvester Powell, Camille Hyde, and Martin Bobb-Semple.

Hacks centers on a legendary stand-up comedian Deborah Vance (Smart), who hires a young comedy writer Ava Daniels (Einbinder) to help reinvent her act. The third season saw Deborah riding high off her success while Ava tries to make a name for herself in Los Angeles. They eventually reunite, as Deborah decides to seek new career opportunities with Ava by her side.

Dexter: Original Sin will be set 15 years before the original series, and it will see the young Dexter Morgan make a transition from a forensics student to an avenging serial killer. Once his bloodthirsty urges become impossible to ignore, he starts learning to channel his inner darkness.

His father Harry helps him avoid getting on law enforcement’s radar by adopting a code and only finding and killing people who deserve to be eliminated from society. He must also juggle his killing sprees with his forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department.

Patrick Gibson (Shadow and Bone) will lead the series as the young Dexter Morgan, while Christian Slater (Mr. Robot) is set to play his father Harry. Molly Brown (Senior Year) joined the cast as Dexter’s younger sister, Debra Morgan.

They’re replacing Michael C. Hall as Dexter, James Remar as Harry, and Jennifer Carpenter as Deb, who played these characters in the original series, which ran on Showtime for eight seasons.

They’re suddenly brought together by an unexpected family tragedy, which sets off a life-altering chain of events that leaves them navigating the intricate balance between blame and accountability.
