Andrew Phung co-created this series for CBS alongside Scott Townend and led its cast, which also included Rahkee Morzaria, Zoriah Wong, and Roman Pesino.
Season 3 of Run the Burbs ended its run earlier this month, and Phung announced that CBC won’t be moving forward with Season 4. He also said it was an absolute joy to make this show with the rest of its cast and crew and added he’s proud of what they’ve accomplished.
“We set out to make a funny, heartfelt, high-energy show about the suburbs and the families that make them great. Three years later, we are so proud to have made one of the most diverse and culturally specific comedies to ever come out of this country,” he wrote on Instagram.

]]>Organized Crime reunited us with Christopher Meloni’s fan-favorite character Elliot Stabler from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. His retirement comes to an end following his wife’s murder and he decides to join the NYPD and work under Sergeant Ayanna Bell’s command in the hope he’ll find the killer.
In addition to Meloni in the lead role, the cast of Organized Crime also includes Danielle Moné Truitt, Tamara Taylor, Ainsley Seiger, Dylan McDermott, Nona Parker-Johnson, Brent Antonello, and Rick Gonzalez.
NBC didn’t explain their decision to move Organized Crime to their streaming service Peacock, but ratings probably came into play. This series performed below the other Wolf dramas on NBC while doing pretty well on Peacock, most likely because it embraced a darker tone and serialized storytelling that’s not characteristic of other shows in the franchise.
Law & Order: Organized Crime will stream exclusively on Peacock when it comes back for Season 5 after the streamer gave it a 10-episode order.

]]>Wednesday premiered on Netflix back in 2022 and became a huge pop-culture phenomenon and the streamer’s second-most-watched English-language series in history. It chronicled the adventures of the teenage Wednesday Addams during her time at Nevermore Academy, and it’s safe to assume that the class will be back in session in Season 2.
Newton will play a mystery character in the show’s next season, but she isn’t the first notable star to join Wednesday in recent weeks. Hollywood veteran Steve Buscemi will also be a part of the Season 2 cast, and it’s rumored he’ll play the new principal of Nevermore Academy, replacing Gwendoline Christie.
Thandiwe Newton is best known as the star of HBO’s sci-fi series Westworld, which earned her three Emmy nominations for best supporting actress in a drama series during its run. Her recent credits include voice roles in Big Mouth and Human Resources and lead roles in thriller films God’s Country and All the Old Knives.

]]>All American is loosely based on the life of professional football player Spencer Paysinger, and it centers on a rising high school football star Spencer James. His world turns upside down when he’s recruited to play for Beverly Hills High, and his new life collides with his upbringing in the Crenshaw neighborhood in South Los Angeles.

The first five seasons of All American ranged between 16-20 episodes, and The CW will be able to stick to a similar number in Season 6. The upcoming season was initially supposed to feature 13 episodes, but the network decided to extend it to 15.
This decision makes total sense since The CW’s flagship drama is bringing many changes our way in Season 6. It will see Spencer James prepare for the next big step in his football career – the NFL draft.
