]]>Based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series of the same name, The Witcher is set in the medieval world known as the Continent. It centers on Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter with superhuman abilities, who must join forces with elf sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg and Princess Ciri, who’s linked to him by destiny.
The streaming giant revealed what the show’s future has in store in a recent press release:
“It’s official, The Witcher season 4 is in production. But that’s not all, we’re already planning season 5, which will be the final season and bring this epic show to a fitting conclusion. See you on The Continent.”
Despite being a huge hit for Netflix, it’s not a shocker to see the streamer deciding to conclude this story. The Witcher went through many changes in recent years, after Henry Cavill stepped down as Geralt of Rivia and was replaced by Liam Hemsworth. He’ll make his debut in the upcoming Season 4, which is currently in production.

Questions about the third season of Euphoria also emerged, and Zendaya told Variety that she’s “not in charge” of what happens next. When asked if she’d like to play Rue again, she said, “If it’s right for the characters and everything turns out the way it should, of course”, while also adding that the show’s future is “beyond” her.
The third season of Euphoria was in development for quite some time, but HBO announced they’re postponing it indefinitely just last month. The network said that its creator is “committed to making an exceptional third season”, while also adding they’re allowing the show’s cast to seek other roles in the interim, without specifying a potential start of production.
